fooling around with illustrator

the pink one i just thought looked pretty odd and cool all at the same time.
the other one i just wanted a backgorund for the circles. it looked way to plain without one

the first one is mine. the second one was my inspiration. i love passion pit's song sleepyhead and saw this poster done by valhalla studios. and i was inspired to make my own! i really wanted to use pink and blue as usual. but i threw in yellow and black too. i definitely wanted a repetitive background too. a pattern of some sort

this is the keep calm and carry on poster from Britain in WWII.
i just wanted to make my own colorful version with alittle bit of grain in the background.

for the first 2 i just wanted mca in different fonts, i tried it cluttered it tried it in uniform but then i was just like "ok i want it in one font, multiple times.
so i tried the mca large, the one with the black background. it turned out good, messed around with the transparency alittle and voila. there it is.
